Hurricane's

Hurricane's are very powerful storms. they can cause alot of damage to home's and city's.

We looked at the article "Hurricane's" Specifically Hurricane Ike. Hurricane Ike caused alot of damage, and had very high Waves.

In the picture there is people running from and to they're homes. There are vehicles parked on the road's,and vehicles driving to get away. There's many people getting hurt, and some even dead ... because of this powerful storm.

Hurricane Ike approached Galveston Island, on the golf coast of Mexico in the year of 2008.

The picture in the article was most-likely taken in the spring ( hurricane season ) and it's not any different then any other Hurricane.

This photo was taken to show people like "me" what those people had to go through for a certain amount of hours. until it was over. It also show's how powerful the Hurricane must have been.

I think that this title "Hurricane" was a good title for this article because : If it had said " Storms " or " Big Storm approaches the Golf Coast of Mexico" it wouldn't really be saying much, because it doesn't tell what specific type of storm it was.

"Meet The Barkers"

Dear, Marvin Rich
I'm writting to you, about the show that 'you' produced! And that show is "Meet The Barkers". I'm just wondering why you would call it a "reality" show, or better yet.. have it on reality TV, when its fake! I mean, yeah.. it is good entertainment, but then why do you call it "reality". Reality is something that is real, and not scripted. Something that is actually happening in they life. Watching "reality TV" when it is real, just doesn't seem the same. It would be better if it wasn't scripted because, then people would see what is actually going on in these stars lives. Everyone thinks that "stars" live life so easy, maybe if we actually saw what was going on.. then we could see that that's not true. It's funny how so many watch it, and so many complain. I would be a complainer, because i would rather watch something real, instead of fake. Making this show not 'real' doesn't give the same affect. And maybe , if it wasn't real.. it could be funnier and better entertainment!
Thank-you For Reading This ! :)

Friend-Ship

Okay, well i have this friend, and me and her always call eachother names. Of course we're jokeing about it. But , sometimes she takes it serious ... and gets mad about it. So then , i get mad ... because shes mad over nothing. When ever she would like fall off her bike or somtheing i would laugh at her, i knwo thats wrong, but alot of things make me laugh. And i can't help but laugh, and not because she got hurt, but becasuse the way she got hurt. One time i was over at her house, and i had the flu. She knew i had the flu.. so she didnt ask me to do anything that was like fun. After we ate supper.. my stomache started to hurt. I told her that, and she knew i was about to puke. She got me a bucket.. and tied back my hair. Also got me a drink or two.i never relised that she was a good friend, until a couple days later when i went to my dads. i still had the flu , and my stomache hurt. I felt like i was going to puke, and sure enough i did. As i was bending over the tolit, my step-sister sat there laughing at me, and didnt help do anything to make me feel better.
Poem:
Thank-you for being there...and cheering me up.I never relised how good of a friend you were too me, and how i wasnt to you. I value our friend-ship, and hope it last forever. Friends? no, were sister's. :D

Avalanche

In British Columbia, on February 2,2003 Abby Watkins and Rich Marshall decided to go skiing. They Went skiing in Eastern BC. On they're way up a hill, they saw a school group getting ready to head up to Balu Pass. Abby and Rich stopped by to say hi.
" its a beautiful day out here, isn't it?" Abby said to one of the school group leaders. Abby and Rich decided to go along and ski with the others. There was 3 adults and 14 teenagers. They took a break from climbing in a area with lots of trees. Abby and Rich didn't stop, instead they kept going up the hill. The group started going again. Abby looked back and saw a boy clenching his arms and legs to another group member. " Aren't kids funny these days?" she said as she turned to talk to her husband. At that exact moment just before noon, they heard at great huge noise from the top of Cheops Mountain. The two of them in shock standing there watched as the avalanche was heading towards the school group. "AVALANCHE,AVALANCHE!!" yelled Rich down to the others below. They looked down and saw that the avalanche was in the exact same path as the school group.Rich then screamed for them to get out of the way. All of them looked up. But Riches scream's were heard to late. And the avalanche was very close. All 17 skiers were hit! Hit by rocks, trees, and bundles of snow.. coming at them very fast. The face of the avalanche was so powerful that no one could have got out of the way. All the skiers were no longer together. They were separated everywhere, and under a lot of feet of snow. Rich and Abby raced down the hill, and tried to find, and dig out as many skiers as they could. The had said no one would have made it, but the ones near the top would have had a better chance.Rich runs and tries to dig out the first person he see's.Rich and Abby worked very well by digging out the buried skiers. An hour after the avalanche , seven helicopters,3dogs, and more then 30 people were on site helping them. 7 skiers survived and 7 did not. They were transported by helicopter to the cafeteria of the parks wardens station. Except one who was air lifeted to the hospital with a broken ankle.

I've Seen Bullying :

One day I was haning out with my friend at their friends birthday party. We did things that you normally do at a birthday party. We were all haveing agood time except...the one girl I noticed who wasn't talking to anyone. No one was talking to aher either, not even the girl who invited her.

The next day after we all slept over, I went up stairs to where that girl and two others were sitting. They were talking about a bunch of random things. The girl who didn't have many friends asked me if I liked these other two girls. I said "yeah" because they're m friends. She told me that one day at school everyone in the class had to do a test. And she was the first one done. Then the teacher asked her if she wanted a cookie. Then Another girl in the class said" yeah, wanna biscuit", and everyone started laughing. A couple days after that happened they were all eating lunch. Four girls went up to the girl that got a cookie and put juice, and food in her hair and called her a dog.

A Samurai exsited in the 1100's and the 1800's. Usually a Samurai started training at the age 5. When a boy in the Samurai family turned 5, he was giving an imitation sword at a special ceramony. Poor kids in the Samurai family were trained by their fathers, uncles, or even their older brothers. The kids in the Samurai family who were wealthy got sent to special school's. At the school they would learn : Milatary skills, fighting technics, and also literature and arts.Students learned wrestling and striking technics during trainging. They also had sword pratice.

A Samurai's best hope was to die before his lord in a battle. His worst fait was if his lord died before he did. Samurai's followed rules. such as " Bushido" which means "Way of the Warrior". Honor was a huge thing to Samurai's. They would take they're own life in the face of a failure. They would do a thing that is called " Suppuku". That means "Stomache Cutting" . During a Suppuku, a Samurais would wear proper clothing , and carrie the Samurai knife. then they would cut open their own stomache, starting from left to right. at the end they would finish with a upward cut. The Suppuku wasn't performed alone. Another Samurai would stand behind the Samurai that was cutting their stomache open.

* I think these are some of the really COOL facts about Samurai's!
